History

1993

• June 9 — according to the decision of a General stockholders’ meeting (Minutes №1 dated 13.01., 09.06.1993) it was created under the name of joint-stock bank “Municipal bank”.
• July 7 — it was registered by National Bank of Ukraine, registration № 180.

1994

• December 13 — it was re-registered by National Bank of Ukraine because of the change of the name for joint-stock bank “Credit Dnepr Bank”, registration №180.

1995

• It became a member of Ukrainian Association of securities traders.
• Correspondent relations with more than 40 banks in 18 CIS and far foreign countries were fixed.
• It became a stockholder of Ukrainian interbank currency exchange.

1996

• 2 subsidiaries were opened — in Kyiv and Novomoskovsk.
• Agreements with “American Express” and “Thomas Cook” on traveller’s cheque services were signed.
• Launch of collaboration with informational and dealing agency REUTERS.

1997

• Increase of the Statutory fund up to 21.88 mln. Hryvnias.
• The Bank is included into top-10 biggest banks of Ukraine by the size of its equity capital.
• A subsidiary in the city of Alchevsk is opened.
• The President of the Bank won in the project “Person of the year — 97” in the categories “Maecenas of the year” and “Good will mission”.
• A museum “Banknotes from all over the world” (the only one in Ukraine) was opened.

1998

• Confirmation of the permission to conduct registration activity.
• The 6th share issue was registered.
• Participation in SWIFT system.
• An internal local payment system of joint-stock bank “Credit Dnepr Bank” was introduced.
• A profit growth from services on credit card transactions by a factor of two.

1999

• The Statutory capital amounted to 26.64 mln. Hryvnias.
• 3 non-balance offices (Nyzhnyodniprovske, Pivdenne, Zahidne) were opened.
• It became a member of the Guarantee Fund supporting deposits of individual persons.
• It obtained a license from NBU for foreign currency imports.
• Issue of credit cards of joint-stock bank “Credit Dnepr Bank” constituted 3 000 units.

2000

• Prolongation of license for depository activity of securities custodian.
• Increase of the number of “Credit Dnepr Bank” ‘s cashpoints up to 10.
• Growth of the quantity of clients — owners of credit cards of joint-stock bank “Credit Dnepr Bank” — by the factor of 10 to 31.5 thousands.
  
• Realization of the 9th share issue and increase of the Statutory capital to 79.55 mln. Hryvnias.
• Admission to the International payment system MasterCard Europe S.A. as an affiliated member.
• December 7 — the Bank was given a status of an associated member of the International Association EUROPAY INTERNATIONAL.

2001

• Actual joint member of the Ukrainian union of manufacturers and businessmen.
• With the decision of competitive commission of the Pension fund of Ukraine the Bank was given the right to open current accounts of natural persons for the payment of pensions and monetary support.
• Confirmation of the right to carry out professional activity on securities market.
• Receipt of the License of a single pattern for depository activity of securities custodian, management of the register of nominal share owners, issue and circulation of securities.
• Winner of the competition for service rendering as a securities custodian for regional offices of the Fund of state property of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk and Luhansk regions.
• Conferring to “Credit Dnepr Bank” an initial rating of support 5T by the Rating agency “FITCH I.B.C.A”.

2002

• Change of the status in the International Payment system VISA International to an associated member.
• Opening of a subsidiary in the city of Sumy.
• Confirmation by the license of NBU №70 dated 24.12.2002 and Permission №70-1 dated 24.12.2002 to carry out all kinds of banking activities.

2003

• 81 correspondent account for joint-stock bank “Credit Dnepr Bank” was opened in the banks of close and far foreign countries.
• Summing up the results of the rating PARD Bank, as a custodian, it occupied the 6th place by the number of accounts in securities of depositors and an overall 11th place among custodians of securities of Ukraine.
• Volume of private deposits grew by 63% up to 207 mln. Hryvnias.
• Salary projects were realized at 43 companies.

2004

• The Bank issued more than 52 thousand international credit cards.
• Increase of the network of terminal equipment up to 35 cashpoints.
• According to the statistics of the Ukrainian Interbank Association of the members of Europay Int. “ЕМА”, joint-stock bank “Credit Dnepr Bank” occupied the 21st place (out of 56 banks) by the issue of cards of international payment systems and by the quantity of installed terminal equipment.
• Opening of 4 new offices in Dnipropetrovsk (Amur-Nyzhnedneprovskoe, Severnoe, Kalinovskoe, and Levoberezhnoe).
• Summing up the results of the rating PARD Bank, as a custodian, — the Bank occupied the 9th place among securities custodians of Ukraine.

2005

• There was reached an agreement with a Malaysian bank “Bank Islam Malaysia” on carrying out financing of trade transactions.
• A division of marketing and development was organized; an implementation of a new programme of work with clients was launched.
• An efficient system of risk-management was elaborated and the quality of credit portfolio of the Bank was improved.
• Opening of a new head-office in Dnipropetrovsk.
• First Ukrainian Bureau of Credit Histories was created with the assistance of the Bank.
• According to the information of Ukrainian Rating Agency, “Credit Dnepr Bank” occupied leading positions in the rating of brands of “Gvardia” magazine.
• Growth of volumes of private deposits of the Bank by 42% up to 300 mln. Hryvnias.
• More than 50 thousand cards VISA Int. were issued.
• 57 salary projects at Ukrainian companies were fulfilled (an overall number of the realized salary projects attained 176 companies).
  Summing up the results of the rating PARD in 2005 — the Bank as a custodian — the 9th place.

2006

• An agreement on cooperation with Bulgarian Export Credit Agency (BAEZ) was signed.
• April — an agreement on interbank collaboration with Banque de commerce et de placements S.A., Geneva, Switzerland, was signed.
• May 15 — grand opening of a new full-function Nahornoe office in the city of Dnipropetrovsk.
• The Bank occupied the 1st place in Dnipropetrovsk region and the 8th place in Ukrainian rating, published by the State Fiscal Administration of Ukraine by the level of tax payment by banking institutions in 2005.
• A hundred-thousandth pay card is issued.
• Opening of 4 new offices in: Chernovtsy (Chernovytskoe), Dnepropetrovsk (Industrial’noe), Pavlograd (Pavlogradskoe), Nikopol (Shevchenkovskoe).
• December 11 — the international rating agency Moody’s has assigned the ratings to Credit-Dnepr Bank В3/NP/E+/Stable/Baa3.ua.
• December 20 — Credit Dnepr Bank increased its regulatory capital up to 212 million Hrivnas.
• December — an agreement on interbank collaboration with AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH, Frankfurt-am Main, Germany, was signed.

2007

• January
  Chairman of the Management Board of Credit-Dnepr Bank, Mr. Pavel Makarov entered in rating of the most successful Ukrainian banking top-managers “Guards of managers”.
  A credit line for the Closed Joint Stock Company “Pipe factory VSMPO-AVYSMA” on a total summ of $4.4 million was opened.
• February
  It is signed agreement about the direct financing with the American company Cargill Financial Services International.
  The credit line for the Trade house “Metyzy”, Ltd. was opened.
  The agreement about interbank cooperation was signes with LHB INTERNATIONALE HANDELSBANK AG, Frankfurtam Main, Germany.
• March
  Opening of sub branch “Lvovskoe” in Lvov.
• April
  The International rating agency Fitch has assigned the В-/В/D/E/5/Stable/BBB-(ukr) ratings to Bank.
• May
  It were opened 4 sub branches in Dnepropetrovsk: “Pravoberezhnoe”, “Vostochnoe”, “Jovtnevoe”, “Kyrovskoe”.
  The domestic rating agency Expert-Rating has assigned pi-rating “В++” to Bank.
• June
  A credit line for enterprises of the “AVYTO corporation” on a total sum of UAH 5.0 million was opened.
  Opening of sub branch “Odesskoe” in Odessa.
  A credit line for “Arda LTD.” on a total sum of UAH10.0 million was opened.
• July
  It were opened 4 sub branches in Dnepropetrovsk: “Gagarynskoe”, “Berezynskoe”.
• August
  Opening of sub branch “Kryvorozhskoe” in Krivoy Rog.
• September
  Opening of sub branch “Dneprodzerzhynskoe” in Dneprodzerzhynsk.
  Opening of sub branch “Donetskoe” in Donetsk.
• October
  Opening of sub branch “Poltavskoe” in Poltava.
